The Florida Association of RHIOs (FAR) has been organized to serve the collaborative interests of its members and the communities which we serve. Our mission is to facilitate electronic exchange of health and medical information to improve access and delivery of healthcare services in Florida, while protecting the privacy and security of its residents.

The Association is also organized for the purpose of soliciting, receiving, and administering gifts, grants, and contributions that assist in the development, operation and improvement of the charitable, scientific, literary, and educational services of Florida’s regional health information organizations, and may engage in fund-raising and grant activity in support of this purpose.

We need your help in order to carry out our vision to increase patient safety and meet the needs of the Florida public.  We can only establish a collaborative framework with physician assistance and cooperation of consumers, employers and policy makers throughout the state.
